Originally from Latin America but based in Birmingham (UK), Mauricio Reyes is the founder of Latin Motion, the biggest salsa outfit in the Midlands since it was established in the early 1990’s. Mauricio has been dancing and listening to salsa all of his life and has been teaching salsa dance since the tender age of 17. As a DJ he is guaranteed to read the crowd, spinning a broad range of top salsa, from NY to LA, Colombian to Cuban, etc. SALSA pa’ bailar – dura pero sabrosa! Mauricio has been DJ-ing since 1994, playing and teaching regularly all over the Midlands, the UK and abroad.

Lisa and Mark have spent time training with top international dance company Hacha Y Machete who are a great inspiration to them. They also train the ConTambor student group, made up of students from their classes, which performed its debut in 2007 at The Clave Club in Oxford, and the salsaOxford Improver Student group which performed its debut there in 2008. Their aim as teachers is to educate their students to understand latin music and to express this on the dancefloor and they have found that dancing and teaching “on2″, or “on percussion” as they prefer to call it, has best helped them to do this.

Frank Santos is without doubt one of the hottest new talents on the UK and international salsa scenes. Frank is originally from the Dominican Republic (Home of Bachata) but grew up in Italy where he started to develop his talent with dance.
